Upcoming Events

Dear Scouts and Scouters,

I have updated the "Upcoming Events" page of our troop web site:

Please note that there is no troop meeting next Tuesday, August 15,
2006. While we normally have troop meetings on the first, second, and
third Tuesdays of each month, this month is an exception, as the
troop is conducting the Mackinac Island outing from Sunday-Thursday,
August 13-17, 2006:

The following Tuesday, August 22, 2006 is the fourth Tuesday in
August, on which we have our regularly scheduled monthly Patrol
Leaders Council meeting. At this PLC meeting, the PLC will be
planning, in particular, for the Burchfield Park Family Picnic, which
is scheduled for Saturday, September 9, approximately two and
one-half weeks after this PLC meeting.

I hope that all of our families will be able to come out for this
picnic. At this picnic, we plan to celebrate, in particular, the
accomplishments of our troop at Northwoods Summer Resident Camp 2006
in early July. Further details about this picnic will be provided as
soon as possible.

The following Tuesday, August 29, 2006 is the fifth Tuesday in
August. There is no meeting scheduled for that Tuesday.
