Lansing Lugnuts, Friday, July 28
Dear Scouts and Scouters,
Thanks to Assistant Scoutmaster Gary Cunningham's employer, General Motors:

our troop has been given 20 tickets to Suite S13 at Oldsmobile Park for Game 51 of the Lansing Lugnuts at 7:05 p.m. on Friday, July 28:

This night is a Lansing Area Federal Credit Union Fireworks Night:
http://www.lansinglugnuts.com/fan_action/lafcufireworks.html
We discussed this event at Tuesday evening's troop meeting. At this time, the following tickets were reserved by Scouts and Scouters in our troop :
- 1 ticket for Gary Cunningham
- 3 tickets for Michael Hannah, Xavier Weaver, and one of their parents
- 3 tickets for Colin McCarthy, Ethan McCarthy, and one of his parents
- 2 tickets for Jacob Morey and one of his parents
- 3 tickets for Martin Welch, Michael Welch, and one of their parents
Troop 272 will not provide transportation to this event. Participants in this event from our troop will just meet at Suite S13 at Oldsmobile Park.
There are 8 tickets left to reserve for this event for the following persons:
- the remaining 5 Scouts in our troop: Taylor Bishop, Jacob Butler, Henry Pacheco, Nate Truelove, and Aaron Walsh
- one parent of each of 3 of these remaining 5 Scouts
Since there are still 5 Scouts in our troop who have not reserved a ticket, but only 8 tickets left to reserve, there are not enough tickets left to reserve for all 5 of these Scouts and one parent of each of these 5 Scouts. All 5 of these Scouts could still go to this event, provided 2 of the remaining 5 Scouts could go to this event with one of the other adults from our troop attending this event. Troop 272 will not handle such arrangements, but will leave them up to the Scouts and their families.
Please let me know as soon as possible whether you wish to attend this event, so that a final decision regarding the distribution of these 20 tickets can be made as soon as possible. If not earlier, a final decision regarding the distribution of these 20 tickets will be made at the Patrol Leaders Council Meeting next Tuesday evening, July 25.
I will get back to everyone concerning this final decision once it has been made and will, at this time, provide further details about obtaining any tickets which you have reserved for this event.
Sincerely,
John D. McCarthy
